Key Responsibilities

  • Handle inbound customer calls regarding claims, benefits, enrollment, member portal, ID cards, and other Medicare-related inquiries.
  • Work closely with customers to resolve issues, providing empathetic and professional support to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Navigate through multiple systems simultaneously to access customer information and provide accurate solutions.
  • Maintain a high level of productivity and efficiency, meeting performance metrics while delivering exceptional customer service.
  • Collaborate with the team to achieve service goals, sharing knowledge and best practices to continuously improve service quality.

Qualifications and Skills

To excel in this role, you must possess excellent customer-focused competencies, with a strong emphasis on empathy, problem-solving skills, and verbal and written communication abilities. The ideal candidate will have:

  • Experience in call center customer service, preferably in an inbound call environment with no telesales.
  • Strong customer service skills, with the ability to remain calm and composed under pressure.
  • Empathy and a customer-centric approach, with a genuine desire to help and support customers.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with proper grammar, professional language, and the ability to clearly convey complex messages over the phone.
  • Ability to score 80% or above on the eSkills test, demonstrating proficiency in navigating multiple systems and technology.

Preferred Qualifications

While not mandatory, the following qualifications are highly desirable:

  • High School Diploma or GED, coupled with at least 2 years of customer service experience in a call center environment.
  • Experience in the healthcare industry, particularly with Medicare, is a significant advantage.
  • Previous experience working in a call center, handling inbound customer calls, is preferred.
