**Earnings Potential**
As an independent contractor with blithequark, you can earn up to $20.40 per hour, with a guaranteed minimum of 45 minutes for each hour if available for the full 60 minutes. This means you can earn a competitive hourly rate while enjoying the flexibility of working on your own schedule.
**Schedule**
Our flexible scheduling opportunities allow you to create your own schedule, with availability between 8 am and 8 pm CST, Monday to Friday. This means you can choose the hours that work best for you and your lifestyle.
**Skills and Qualifications**
To succeed in this role, you will need to possess the following skills and qualifications:
* **Proficiency in Bookkeeping Software**: You must be proficient in QuickBooks Online or comparable accounting software, with a strong understanding of bookkeeping and accounting principles.
* **Bookkeeping/Accounting Expertise**: You should have expertise in areas such as Accounts Receivable (AR), Accounts Payable (AP), journal entries, reconciliation, and other bookkeeping functions.
* **Customer Service Experience**: You must have experience in delivering high-quality customer service over the phone in a virtual or "brick and mortar" call center environment.
* **Cross-Selling and Communication Skills**: You should be comfortable cross-selling relevant products while addressing customer concerns and possess strong communication skills to effectively communicate with clients.
* **Tech Savvy**: You must be tech-savvy and an avid computer user, with a strong understanding of computer software and hardware.
* **Professional Demeanor**: You should possess a friendly tone and professional demeanor when interacting with clients.
**Work Environment and Technology Requirements**
To ensure your success in this role, you will need to meet the following work environment and technology requirements:
* **Quiet, Uninterrupted Space**: You must have a quiet, uninterrupted space to work from, free from distractions and interruptions.
* **Organized Desk Area**: You should maintain an organized desk area, with all necessary equipment and resources within easy reach.
* **Personal Computer**: You will need a personal computer (no tablet) with a wired internet connection, at least 10 Mbps download speed, and a valid antivirus software installed, running, and up to date.
* **Wired USB Headset**: You must have a wired USB headset with microphone to ensure clear communication with clients.
* **Windows 10 or Windows 11 Operating System**: You should have a Windows 10 or Windows 11 operating system installed on your computer.
* **Mac Users**: Mac users must have an Intel-based machine with Windows 11 installed via Apple's Boot Camp utility.
**Important Information**
To participate in this program, you must live and work from the United States, except for California, New York, Pennsylvania, and Washington. You must also successfully pass a criminal background check. As an independent contractor, you will remain responsible for your own taxes and benefits, and you will not be eligible for employee benefits such as vacation pay, sick leave, or health insurance.

The relationship between you and blithequark is a contractual relationship, and you will remain an independent contractor for the duration of this program assignment. You will be responsible for your own taxes and benefits, and you will not be eligible for employee benefits.
**Job Type**
This is a contract position, with a pay rate of $15.30 - $20.40 per hour.
**Schedule**
