Key Responsibilities and Duties
As a Wealth Management Advisory Consultant, your key responsibilities will include:
- Managing your time and resources efficiently and effectively to meet the needs of your clients
 - Developing and implementing strategic and tactical plans that take into account client challenges and objectives
 - Tailoring investment strategies for clients, considering factors such as regulatory issues, liquidity needs, and tax implications
 - Reviewing client information, including financial statements, risk investment profiles, and cash availability, to devise customized financial plans
 - Working in a team environment to grow your book of business through identifying value-add products and services for clients and developing additional business through referrals
 - Performing investment research and staying informed of developments in security markets to provide clients with up-to-date financial guidance
 - Collaborating with your team to maintain a book of business and meet or exceed annual sales targets
 
Educational Requirements and Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A university degree (preferred)
 - 3+ years of experience in financial services (required), with 5+ years of experience preferred
 - FINRA Series 7 and Series 66 (or combination of 63 & 65) registrations, which must be obtained within the first 120 days of employment
 - State health and life insurance licenses, which must be obtained within the first 120 days of employment
 
Preferred qualifications include:
- A Bachelor's degree
 - 5+ years of experience in financial services
 - Prior advisor/consultant experience
 - Knowledge of institutional retirement plans
 - Experience with advice planning tools, such as MoneyGuidePro
 
Skills and Competencies
To excel in this role, you will need to possess:
- Strong client financial planning and relationship management skills
 - Excellent consultative communication and due diligence skills
 - Knowledge of financial markets, market/industry dynamics, and practice management strategy
 - Ability to sell and promote financial products and services
 - Strong retirement planning and wealth management skills
 - Experience with TIAA products and services (preferred)

- A base salary range of $65,600/yr. - $110,000/yr.
