About the Role

In this critical leadership position, you will be responsible for managing the daily administration, operations, and compliance functions of the branch, as well as identifying and recommending opportunities for growth and expansion. You will provide financial advice to clients based on their individual needs and circumstances, make informed decisions regarding compliance, regulation, and administration, and interpret and develop policies and procedures to ensure the branch operates efficiently and effectively. As a leader, you will be expected to promote the firm's brand within the community, mentor and guide the development of your team members, and assist in hiring top talent to drive business success.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and develop a team of associates in a Private Client Group branch, providing guidance, coaching, and support to ensure their success and growth.
  • Drive business growth and expansion by identifying and pursuing new opportunities, building relationships with clients and referral sources, and promoting the firm's products and services.
  • Provide financial advice to clients based on their individual needs and circumstances, ensuring that their financial goals and objectives are met.
  • Make informed decisions regarding compliance, regulation, and administration, ensuring that the branch operates in accordance with all relevant laws, regulations, and company policies.
  • Interpret and develop policies and procedures to ensure the efficient and effective operation of the branch, and implement changes as needed to drive improvement and growth.
  • Promote the firm's brand within the community, building relationships with key stakeholders and referral sources, and representing the company in a professional and positive manner.
  • Mentor and guide the development of team members, providing feedback, coaching, and support to ensure their success and growth, and assisting in hiring top talent to drive business success.

Essential Qualifications

To be considered for this role, you must have:

  • 4+ years of banking and financial services experience, or equivalent demonstrated through a combination of work experience, training, military experience, and education.
  • 2+ years of leadership experience, with a proven track record of success in managing and developing high-performing teams.
  • Successfully completed Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA) Series 7, 9, 10, and 63 examinations (or FINRA recognized equivalents) sufficient to qualify for immediate FINRA registration.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with clients, team members, and other stakeholders.
  • Life & Health Insurance licenses, with the ability to obtain and maintain additional licenses as required.
  • Ability to interact with all levels of the organization, building relationships and collaborating with colleagues to drive business success.
  • Leadership and management experience, with a proven track record of success in managing and developing high-performing teams.
  • Ability to grow and develop a team while promoting diversity and inclusion, with a commitment to creating a positive and inclusive work environment.
  • Currently managing a book of business, with a proven track record of success in driving business growth and expansion.
