**Responsibilities**
As an Inbound Energy Customer Care Specialist, you will be responsible for:
* Answering phone calls from customers in a professional, courteous manner, and responding to their inquiries and complaints in a timely and effective manner.
* Focusing on customer retention through proactive communication, issue resolution, and personalized support.
* Providing customers with clear explanations of our service standards, policies, and procedures.
* Identifying and escalating priority issues to high-level management, ensuring timely resolution and minimizing customer dissatisfaction.
* Routing inbound calls to the most suitable resources, ensuring efficient issue resolution and minimizing wait times.
* Following up on complicated customer calls, providing additional support and ensuring customer satisfaction.
* Completing call notes and call reports as necessary, updating them in our CRM system to maintain accurate records.
* Obtaining and evaluating relevant data to properly handle and document complaints and inquiries.
* Recording details of comments, inquiries, complaints, and actions taken, maintaining a comprehensive understanding of customer needs and preferences.
* Performing other duties as assigned by management, contributing to the overall success of the team.
**Requirements**
To succeed in this role, you will need:
* A High School Diploma or equivalent
* Bilingual skills (a plus)
* Some sales and customer service experience, with a proven track record of delivering exceptional customer experiences
* Excellent communication skills, including verbal and written communication, with proper grammar and punctuation
* Excellent computer skills, with proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM systems
* Detail-oriented with the ability to multitask, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple projects simultaneously
* Some experience with MS Excel (a plus)
