About the Role

Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the main point of contact for your assigned accounts, owning the full post-sale customer journey and building strong relationships with Operations and Finance professionals at complex SMBs.
- Retain and grow a rapidly expanding book of business by delivering business reviews, scheduled monthly calls, and handling client escalations.
- Interact with clients through virtual screen shares, virtual calls, regular calls, and emails, providing exceptional customer support and driving business growth.
- Serve as the expert and go-to consultant for your accounts on purchasing and payments best practices within their industry, providing valuable insights and recommendations.
- Dig deep to understand clients' business goals and educate them on how to leverage our platform to best meet these goals, driving business growth and customer satisfaction.
- Analyze your book of business and your clients' spend patterns to identify risks of churn before it happens, taking proactive steps to mitigate these risks.
- Proactively increase our share of wallet with clients, meeting aggressive spend revenue targets, including the sale of financial products, and building brand champions.
- Get creative with strategies to educate and empower your clients with new product features and services, driving business growth and customer satisfaction.
- Translate customer feedback into product improvements, ensuring that our platform meets the evolving needs of our clients.
- Monitor your accounts' support & ordering volume and spend patterns, and escalate risk proactively, ensuring that our clients receive exceptional support and service.
- Reporting directly to the Account Management Team Lead, work together to surface and understand analytical trends for your clients and areas of opportunity.
Requirements
We're looking for a highly motivated and experienced Associate Account Manager who possesses the following skills and qualifications:
- 2+ years of experience in an Account Management role, with firsthand experience owning the relationship with a number of clients and servicing their needs.
- A proven track record of success in driving business growth, customer satisfaction, and retention.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and colleagues.
- Highly organized and able to manage multiple priorities at once, ensuring that tasks are completed on time and to a high standard.
