**Experienced Data Entry Specialist – Food Safety and Quality Assurance (Remote)**

**Your Day-to-Day Responsibilities**
As a Data Entry Specialist at blithequark, your primary responsibilities will include:
* Preparing, sorting, and interpreting data in an organized manner to ensure efficient entry and accurate reporting.
* Closing Batch Tickets for both locations (Pembroke & Tower) in a timely and accurate manner.
* Reading and understanding product formulas, building sheets, and bill of materials to ensure accurate data entry.
* Understanding units of measure and the significance of accurate reporting and data entry.
* Clarifying missing information by contacting document authors and maintaining current tracking systems.
* Updating existing systems to meet future requirements and ensuring compliance with quality systems.
* Adhering to PPE requirements and other safety protocols as required.
* Performing other duties as assigned by management.
**Qualifications**
To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following qualifications:
* Bilingual English/Spanish (reading/writing/speaking) is required.
* Associate degree or equivalent.
* Minimum of 2 years of experience in data entry or a related field, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
* Excellent consultative, strategic thinking, and problem-solving skills.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a remote team.
**Preferred Qualifications**
While not required, prior experience in manufacturing and a strong understanding of quality systems (SQF, HACCP, and GMP) would be an asset in this role.
