Key Responsibilities – What You’ll Own and Drive

  • Strategic Vision & Leadership – Define and execute the overarching digital design strategy that aligns with CVS Health’s brand pillars and business objectives.
  • Creative Direction – Lead the conceptualization, design, and production of high‑impact digital assets, including websites, mobile experiences, video content, immersive AR/VR projects, and social media campaigns.
  • Brand & Identity Systems – Create, evolve, and steward comprehensive digital identity systems and style guides for large, complex audiences across multiple sub‑brands (Aetna, CVS Pharmacy, etc.).
  • Team Mentorship & Development – Inspire, coach, and grow a multidisciplinary creative team of designers, motion graphics artists, and UX specialists, fostering a culture of continuous learning and innovation.

Essential Qualifications – The Foundations You Bring

  • Minimum 10 years of progressive experience in creative roles, with at least 4 years in a Digital Creative Director or equivalent senior leadership position.
  • Demonstrated track record of delivering award‑winning digital campaigns for large, complex brands—preferably within health‑care, insurance, retail, or e‑commerce sectors.
  • Robust, publicly accessible portfolio showcasing brand‑building and sales‑driving work, including websites, video productions, immersive experiences, social media, and comprehensive digital identity systems.
  • Deep understanding of user experience principles and accessibility standards (WCAG 2.0).
  • Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite, XD, Sketch, Figma, and motion‑design tools such as After Effects.
  • Experience working with content management systems—particularly Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) and digital asset management platforms.
  • Exceptional strategic thinking, storytelling, and presentation abilities.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, able to articulate complex ideas to diverse audiences.
