About the Role

As a Full Stack Software Engineer for Delta Airlines Careers Remote, you will play a critical role in the development and maintenance of Delta's web and cloud applications. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and deploy scalable and secure software solutions that meet the needs of Delta's customers and employees. Key Responsibilities

  • Contribute to software design, software development, and overall product life cycle for Delta.com products.
  • Collaborate with other product teams and foster cross-team collaboration to identify and address technical issues and opportunities for improvement.
  • Demonstrate expertise in modern software design and development, including Agile Scrum methodology, and collaborate with other product team members to develop secure, reliable, and scalable software solutions.
  • Write code or scripts for infrastructure automation, service monitoring, and test cases, and create meaningful dashboards, logs, alerts, and responses to ensure issues are proactively caught and resolved.
  • Identify vulnerable areas of code and implement fixes as they are discovered, with or without features, and identify, implement, and share technical solutions applicable across the portfolio.
  • Identify product improvements and create a better experience for end users, and act as a point of contact for technical issues, create documentation, and monitor service levels.
  • Research and/or investigate technical issues affecting the organization and recommend solutions, and keep up with industry trends through benchmarking, joining professional associations, etc. to advise others on strategic technology direction.
  • Provide application support for software running in production, see the performance and capacity of all aspects of production: code, infrastructure, data processing, and messaging.
  • Resolve high-priority issues and interruptions as they arise, and participate in learning activities related to the AWS Cloud, Agile Software Development, and development of core practices.
  • Work from home is allowed two to three days a week.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field, and two years of experience in software development or related.
  • Alternatively, accept a Master's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.
  • Typescript, Javascript, and Angular 4+, including component setup, data/method binding, modular/clean code, user authentication and authorization, and security.
  • Rxjs Observables and Angular Component Dev Kit.
  • Software development using Agile Scrum methodology.
  • Implement responsive web design, interactive graphics and diagrams.
  • API / Microservices integration.
  • Test-driven development and efficient creation of unit tests with Jasmine, Karma, and Gradeboog.
