With a diverse range of businesses, including film and television production, theme parks, resorts, and consumer products, Disney is a dynamic and innovative company that is always pushing the boundaries of what is possible. **About the Role** As a Global Event Security Manager at Disney, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and executing comprehensive security strategies and plans for global events and productions. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure the safety and security of staff, guests, and assets, and will be responsible for managing and coordinating with local law enforcement, medical, and other crisis response agencies. **Key Responsibilities** * Design, implement, and execute comprehensive security strategies and plans for global events and productions * Coordinate with local law enforcement, medical, and other crisis response agencies to ensure the safety and security of staff, guests, and assets * Lead briefings and provide guidance and recommendations to senior staff, territorial managers, national managers, and field security facilitators * Provide training and coaching to formally dressed contract security personnel * Support security and crisis response plans for all events * Analyze security risks, issues, and requirements * Responsible for the financial outcomes and cost management of units coordinated * Develop and maintain partner relationships with law enforcement and other crisis response elements in all networks where ESPN has events and productions * Regulate Occasion Security vendors and security service contractors * Ensure that appropriate security equipment and systems are installed and fully functional * Work within the framework of defined corporate procedures * Make decisions guided by a established corporate approach * Serve as ESPN Security's Knowledge Officer * Contact with Disney Worldwide Security Threat Investigation Unit **Essential Qualifications** * In-depth knowledge of remote/transitory office and event security issues, needs, and best practices * Working knowledge of police, fire, medical, and other crisis response methods in responding to crisis occurrences * At least 4 years of experience in the security industry with experience in management * Proven leadership skills with excellent management abilities * Continuous travel estimate of half or more, including weekends, evenings, and event availability * Experience working in office settings and on outdoor events **Preferred Qualifications** * Working knowledge of ESPN's security equipment, systems, strategies, and policies * Policing on event planning * Strong contact relationships with local, state, and government law enforcement **Required Education** * High school degree or equivalent **Preferred Education** * Four-year college degree **What We Offer** * Competitive salary of $30-$35/hour * Opportunity to work with a global leader in the entertainment industry * Collaborative and dynamic work environment * Professional development and growth opportunities * Comprehensive benefits package * Flexible work arrangements, including remote work options **How to Apply** If you are a motivated individual with a passion for delivering exceptional event security services, we encourage you to apply now!
