Job Overview and Responsibilities

In this part-time, entry-level role, you will be responsible for accurately and efficiently transferring confidential data from paper and electronic formats into our billing software, Timeslips, using a keyboard. Your attention to detail and organizational skills will be essential in verifying data by comparison and generating reports, as well as sorting and organizing paperwork, both electronically and in hard copy, following data entry. You will also be required to type in data provided directly from staff, ensuring accuracy and precision in all your work.

Essential Qualifications and Skills

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess a high school diploma or equivalent, as well as prior work experience in data entry. While experience in a medical, legal, or insurance claims office is preferred, it is not essential. You should have a typing proficiency of at least 45 words per minute, with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail. Some understanding of the internal processes of medical facilities and med-legal terminology would be beneficial, but training can be provided for the right candidate.
