Job Summary

We're seeking an experienced Full Stack Software Engineer to join our team in California. As a key member of our development team, you'll play a critical role in designing, developing, and deploying scalable and efficient web and cloud applications. Responsibilities

As a Full Stack Software Engineer, you'll be responsible for:
  • Designing and developing scalable and efficient web and cloud applications using a range of programming languages and technologies.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize project requirements, develop project plans, and ensure timely delivery.
  • Writing high-quality, well-documented code that meets the highest standards of performance, security, and maintainability.
  • Participating in code reviews and providing constructive feedback to ensure best practices are followed.
  • Troubleshooting and resolving complex technical issues, and collaborating with other teams to resolve issues that require additional support.
  • Staying up-to-date with the latest technologies and trends in the industry, and applying this knowledge to improve our products and services.
  • Contributing to the development of technical documentation and knowledge base articles to support the growth and development of our team.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you'll need:
  • A bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • At least 1 year of experience in software development, with a strong focus on web and cloud application development.
  • Proficiency in a range of programming languages, including Java, Python, JavaScript, and C++.
  • Experience with cloud platforms, such as AWS or Google Cloud, and containerization technologies, such as Docker.
  • Strong understanding of software development principles, including design patterns, testing, and deployment.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex technical issues and develop effective solutions.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.

Preferred Qualifications

While not required, the following qualifications would be an asset:
  • A master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Experience with agile development methodologies, such as Scrum or Kanban.
  • Knowledge of DevOps practices, including continuous integration and continuous deployment.
  • Experience with cloud-based databases, such as MongoDB or Cassandra.
  • Strong understanding of security principles and best practices, including authentication, authorization, and encryption.
