Job Summary

Key Responsibilities

• Responsible for creating new, modifying existing, and performing ad-hoc reporting in support of business processes and data-driven decision making.
• Develop and maintain complex data quality standards and controls to ensure data integrity and accessibility.
• Manage and create new data pipelines from source systems to the Data Warehouse.
• Collaborate with stakeholders, including Monitoring and Business Analysts, to understand organizational needs, maintain complete documentation, and obtain business sign-offs for all reporting requirements.
• Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines and data architecture.
• Apply data storytelling principles to generate clear and impactful data visualizations using Power BI.
• Assist in automating existing business functions and enhancing exception-based reporting.
• Partner with IT and business stakeholders to identify, analyze, and acquire new data variables (data mining).
• Evaluate large datasets to identify relevant patterns that provide actionable insights.
• Critically evaluate information gathered from multiple sources and resolve discrepancies.
• Validate data for accuracy by verifying against requirements.
• Investigate data errors and remediate poor data quality.
• Participate in the Data Governance program by updating the data dictionary and policies & procedures.
• Examine and validate metrics to ensure effectiveness and provide feedback to team leaders on areas that require attention.

Essential Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need to have:

• 2+ years of experience performing comprehensive data analysis.
• Strong experience working with Power BI, including creating complex dashboards and reports.
• Proficiency in working with various reporting objects, such as Dimensions, Measures, Filters, Computed Columns, transformations, parameters, conditional formatting, DAX queries, Interactions, etc. in Power BI.
• Knowledge of DAX, SQL, and M Code.
• Proficiency in SQL, with the ability to write complex SQL queries to create reports and analytics.
• Experience with ETL tools, such as SSIS, Power BI Dataflows, or other Big Data integrations.
• Strong data modeling experience using star schema or other methodologies.
• Problem-solving skills with statistical analysis and large data sets are highly preferred.
• Experience with SSMS (SQL Server Management Studio), Power BI, and Power Query.
• Experience with Smartsheets.
• A strong work ethic and ability to prioritize tasks to meet deadlines.

Preferred Qualifications
