Job Overview

As a Customer Care Representative at blithequark, you will be the face of our company, providing top-notch customer service to both external and internal customers. Your role will be pivotal in ensuring that our customers receive the best possible experience, leveraging your in-depth knowledge of our products and programs, as well as collaborating with the Business Support Services Department. Key Responsibilities

  • Pleasantly answer multi-line phones and refer calls to ensure accurate and timely communications, utilizing paging, voice mail, or email as appropriate.
  • Log, process, and dispatch sales and service calls efficiently.
  • Greet customers and visitors warmly, determine their needs, and direct them to the appropriate personnel or area.
  • Process daily checks, equipment service tickets, and walk-in sales with precision.
  • Manage mail and fax communications, preparing outgoing mail and ensuring timely distribution.
  • Maintain the cash box balance for front office invoices and process purchase orders and dunnages for operations.
  • Dispatch orders for warehouses company-wide and order office supplies, business cards, and ink for sales centers.
  • Distribute uniforms and prepare donations according to procedure.
  • Perform administrative tasks for other departments and communicate effectively with coworkers, management, and others.
  • Conform to all regulations, policies, work procedures, and safety rules, promoting a safe and secure work environment.

Essential and Preferred Qualifications

To excel as a Customer Care Representative at blithequark, you will need:

  • A High School Diploma or GED, coupled with at least one year of experience in a customer service position or a combination of education and experience that provides the required skills and knowledge.
  • The ability to answer multi-line telephones, use personal computers for paging, order entry, word processing, and spreadsheets, and multitask with ease.
  • Adaptability, with the ability to adapt to changes in the workplace, and strong communication skills to effectively convey information verbally and in writing.
  • Enthusiasm and energy to bring to day-to-day and long-term tasks and plans, along with reliability, demonstrated through regular attendance and availability.
  • A strong emphasis on safety and security, promoting and personally observing safety and security procedures.
  • Organizational skills, with attention to detail and the ability to multitask, and the ability to maintain confidentiality at the highest level.

Training Requirements

Physical Demands and Work Environment

The Customer Care Representative role involves working in an office environment with sustained posture in a seated position for prolonged periods. You may utilize a computer terminal for extended periods and will need to walk, talk, and hear, using your hands to handle objects. Vision abilities required include close vision and the ability to focus when using a computer terminal. The noise level in the work environment can be moderately noisy due to warehouse equipment in operation. Working hours vary between 6 am to 7 pm, Monday through Friday, with a one-hour lunch break and 40 hours per week, and additional hours may be required occasionally.
