About the International Television Strategy and Operations Team

The International Television Strategy and Operations team plays a vital role in managing the international slate of original content, advocating for local productions, and handling international business affairs, including deal negotiations and advisory services. As an intern on this team, you will have the opportunity to work closely with international regional teams and stakeholders, gaining invaluable experience in the global entertainment industry. You will report to the manager of International Television Strategy & Operations and contribute to the day-to-day tracking of the international originals slate, creating presentation materials, and conducting analyses to support the team's strategic decisions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct ad hoc quantitative analyses and report findings to support the team's strategic decisions
  • Attend meetings with a professional and hardworking attitude, taking notes and contributing to discussions as needed
  • Collaborate with colleagues based in the US and international markets to capture information and stay up-to-date on global trends
  • Track digital trends and social media benchmarks to inform the team's content development and marketing strategies
  • Assist in the creation of presentation materials about international original content, showcasing your creativity and attention to detail

Essential Qualifications and Skills

To succeed in this role, you will need to possess a collaborative spirit, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and a strong ability to work well in a team environment. You should be proficient in Office Suite, Google Suite, and Airtable, with a keen eye for detail and high standards of quality completion. A positive can-do attitude, strong initiative, and follow-through are essential, as well as the ability to thrive in fast-paced environments and balance multiple projects simultaneously.

Preferred Qualifications

While not required, an affinity for the brands and franchises of Disney, as well as previous experience working in the entertainment industry, would be highly beneficial in this role. A major or previous coursework in Communications, Public Relations, International Business, Business Administration, or a related field would also be preferred.

Education and Eligibility Requirements

To be eligible for this internship, you must be at least 18 years old, have not completed one year of continual employment on a Disney internship or program, and possess unrestricted work authorization. You should also be enrolled as a senior in an accredited college/university, taking at least one class in the semester/quarter prior to participation in the internship program, or have graduated from a college/university within 6 months at the time of application posting.

Compensation and Benefits

The pay rate for this role in California is $22 per hour.
