We are proud to offer a supportive and inclusive learning environment that fosters growth, creativity, and innovation. **About the Role** As an Experienced High School Teacher - Auto Body Repair and Refinishing Program, you will be responsible for instructing high school students in the basic skills related to the auto body repair and refinishing industry. You will create and deliver engaging lesson plans, assess student progress, and provide individualized support to ensure students achieve their full potential. Your expertise and passion for auto body repair and refinishing will inspire and motivate students to pursue careers in this exciting and rewarding field. **Key Responsibilities** * Instruct high school students in the basic skills related to auto body repair and refinishing, including: + Safety procedures and protocols + Tool usage and maintenance + Painting and refinishing techniques + Collision repair and estimation + Automotive systems and components * Develop and deliver engaging lesson plans that meet the needs of diverse learners * Assess student progress and provide individualized support to ensure students achieve their full potential * Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement curriculum and instructional strategies * Participate in professional development opportunities to stay current with industry trends and best practices * Maintain accurate records and reports, including student progress and attendance **Essential Qualifications** * I-CAR Pro Level 1 Non-Structural and Refinishing Technician Certification * ASE Non-Structural and Refinishing Technician Certification * Minimum of 3 years work experience in the auto body repair and refinishing industry * Considerable work experience in all aspects of the auto body/collision repair field * Valid Professional Educator License that is current and registered in DuPage County with endorsement in Auto-body/Collision and Repair Technology/Technician (or meet ISBE Requirements for either a Career and Technical Education License or a Provisional Career and Technical Education License) **Preferred Qualifications** * Master's degree in Education or related field * Experience teaching in a high school or vocational setting * Strong knowledge of industry trends and best practices * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills * Ability to work effectively in a team environment **Skills and Competencies** * Strong instructional skills, including lesson planning, delivery, and assessment * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills * Ability to work effectively in a team environment * Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills * Ability to adapt to changing circumstances and priorities * Strong organizational and time management skills **Career Growth Opportunities and Learning Benefits** At Workwarp, we are committed to supporting the growth and development of our employees.
