With a presence in over 130 countries, American Express offers a unique opportunity to work with a global brand and make a real impact on the lives of our customers. **Role Overview** As a Manager of Music Experiences & Partnerships, you will be responsible for developing and executing American Express's music partnership activations, bringing our brand to life at scale for consumers in new and innovative ways. You will manage a robust set of internal and external agency partners to develop and execute plans, continuously innovate our experiential offerings, and own and manage large-scale budgets in partnership with the Finance team. You will also develop relationships across the American Express enterprise to further understand business goals and deliver value through experiential portfolio where possible. **Key Responsibilities** * Develop and execute American Express's music partnership activations, bringing our brand to life at scale for consumers in new and innovative ways * Manage a robust set of internal and external agency partners to develop and execute plans, continuously innovate our experiential offerings * Own and manage large-scale budgets in partnership with the Finance team, ensuring close understanding of internal processes and delivering projects that meet or come in under budget * Develop relationships across the American Express enterprise to further understand business goals and deliver value through experiential portfolio where possible * Create and present activation plans in strategic, clear manner to internal and external executive-level parties * Partner in the collection, analysis, and reporting of key program metrics against set objectives **Essential Qualifications** * 5+ years of experience in experiential marketing, music industry, or related field * Proven track record of developing and executing innovative experiential marketing campaigns that drive business growth and customer engagement * Strong relationships with music industry professionals, including artists, managers, and promoters * Excellent communication and presentation skills, with ability to present to internal and external executive-level parties * Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with ability to collect, analyze, and report key program metrics * Experience managing large-scale budgets and working with finance teams to ensure close understanding of internal processes * Strong understanding of American Express's business goals and objectives, with ability to deliver value through experiential portfolio **Preferred Qualifications** * Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Music Industry, or related field * Experience working in the music industry, including festivals, concerts, and other live events * Strong knowledge of music industry trends and developments * Experience working with internal and external agency partners to develop and execute plans * Strong understanding of social media and digital marketing, with ability to develop and execute social media campaigns **Skills and Competencies** * Strong creative and strategic thinking, with ability to develop and execute innovative experiential marketing campaigns * Excellent communication and presentation skills, with ability to present to internal and external executive-level parties * Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with ability to collect, analyze, and report key program metrics * Experience managing large-scale budgets and working with finance teams to ensure close understanding of internal processes * Strong understanding of American Express's business goals and objectives, with ability to deliver value through experiential portfolio * Strong relationships with music industry professionals, including artists, managers, and promoters * Strong knowledge of music industry trends and developments **Career Growth Opportunities and Learning Benefits** As a Manager of Music Experiences & Partnerships at American Express, you will have the opportunity to grow your career and develop new skills in a dynamic and innovative environment.
