Worldwide Account Manager Global LTL
As a member of a sales team, the sales professional is responsible for the development and managements of large freight opportunities. Their responsibilities would include maintaining existing business through a solutions-based relationship, to pursue expansion opportunities of existing customer, identify and pursue new customers and a high level of collaboration within the company to ensure an optimal customer experience.
Essential Functions:
• Expand and maintain customer revenue by focusing on the customer’s supply chain with decision makers, analyzing customer needs, and developing and implementing freight solutions.
• Coordinates and collaborates with internal functional teams to provide a seamless and outstanding customer experience.
• Fosters an outstanding customer relationship by regularly engaging with the customer to provide business reviews, deliver value proposition and maximize customer utilization of company services.
• Listen to understand and learn the customer’s business and leverages emerging technology and internal systems to drive compelling business proposition.
• Manage and execute key success factors to meet quarterly goals.
• Strong business acumen skills, project management skills and ability to generate creative solutions based on customer needs.
Minimum Education: Bachelors Degree or four (4) years of business-to-business sales experience.
Minimum Experience: Four (4) years of business-to-business sales experience (LTL preferred) or three (3) years of FedEx business-to-business sales experience required. Ability to travel overnight required.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
• 4+ years of Less Than Truckload (LTL) experience with strong knowledge of LTL pricing preferred
• Experience with Microsoft Office (Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, Teams), Salesforce
• Demonstrates initiative, organizational skills, discipline and adaptability while working in a team environment
• Demonstrated negotiation skills needed for LTL pricing and contract renewals for region’s largest LTL accounts
• High-level negotiation skills needed to offer fair, competitive market-based pricing within parameters set by the company
• Ability to collaborate with internal support teams
• Preferred experience in Corporate Account Manager I.
Preferred Qualifications: LTL/Freight Selling experience, working with large customers, strategic selling and negotiation, current/former FedEx employee. FedEx Employees under Jill Brannon's org. Time in Position is waived.
Pay Transparency:
Pay: $72,900 - $136,800
Additional Details: This is a face to face sales role. Hybrid work schedule. Will only consider candidates who live in Eastern or Central Time Zones.
