Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced and motivated individual to join our team as a Remote Operations Manager and Coach Trainee for the USA market in Knoxville. This role is designed for someone who is passionate about customer service, team leadership, and driving business growth. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for leading and developing teams, modeling exceptional customer service standards, driving financial performance and sales, and ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.

Key Responsibilities

  • Team Leadership and Development: Lead and develop teams effectively by teaching, training, and actively listening to associates. This includes touring stores, providing feedback, and communicating with all levels of associates regarding store operations, technology, business initiatives, merchandising, and company direction.
  • Customer Service Excellence: Model and demonstrate exceptional customer service standards to store associates by following and demonstrating the One Best Way (OBW) service model. Manage and support customer service initiatives, ensure customer needs are met, and develop action plans to correct deficiencies.
  • Financial Performance and Sales Growth: Drive the financial performance and sales of the designated store area by reviewing and evaluating P&L statements, managing expenses, monitoring merchandise presentation, and developing action plans to mitigate shrink and achieve sales and profit goals.
  • Associate Development and Supervision: Provide supervision and development opportunities for hourly associates, including hiring, training, mentoring, assigning duties, setting clear expectations, and ensuring diversity and inclusion awareness.
  • Compliance and Ethics: Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures, support company mission, values, and standards of ethics and integrity, and provide direction and guidance on applying these in executing business processes and practices.

Essential Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need to meet the following minimum qualifications:

  • 2 years of college; OR 1 year of retail experience and 1 year of supervisory experience; OR 2 years of general work experience and 1 year of supervisory experience.
  • For facilities that sell firearms, successful completion of a firearms-specific Criminal Background Check (CBC) and Firearms Authorized Training may be required.
  • For facilities that sell only ammunition and have state-specific requirements, a current state-issued Certificate of Eligibility may be required.
  • Ability to attend and successfully complete all job-required trainings and assessments.

Preferred Qualifications

While not required, the following qualifications are preferred:

  • Bachelor of Science in Business Management and Leadership through Live Better U and Bellevue University.
  • Certificate of Completion in People and Business Leadership through Live Better U and Bellevue University.
  • General work experience supervising 5 or more direct reports, including performance management, mentoring, hiring, and firing.
