We are seeking an experienced and skilled Overnight Stocking Coach, Complex, to join our innovative remote team. Key Responsibilities
- Lead and develop teams effectively through teaching, training, and active listening, ensuring that all associates are equipped to meet business objectives.
- Tour stores and provide feedback (Tour-to-Teach) to enhance store operations, technology utilization, business initiatives, merchandising, and company direction.
- Communicate and collaborate with all levels of associates regarding store operations, utilizing technology, business initiatives, merchandising, and company direction.
- Introduce and lead company change efforts, providing clear expectations and guidance to implement business solutions.
- Model and demonstrate exceptional customer service standards to store associates, following and demonstrating the One Best Way (OBW) service model.
- Manage and support customer service initiatives, ensuring customer needs, complaints, and issues are successfully resolved.
- Drive the financial performance and sales of the designated store area by reviewing and evaluating P&L statements, managing budgets, forecasting expenses, and ensuring effective merchandise presentation and operational processes.
- Provide supervision and development opportunities for hourly associates, including hiring, training, mentoring, assigning duties, setting clear expectations, and providing associate recognition.
- Coordinate, complete, and oversee job-related activities and assignments, developing and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders and supporting plans and initiatives to meet customer and business needs.
Essential Qualifications
To be considered for this role, you must meet the following minimum qualifications:
- 2 years of college; OR 1 year's retail experience and 1 year's supervisory experience; OR 2 years' general work experience and 1 year's supervisory experience.
- For facilities that sell firearms, successful completion of a firearms-specific Criminal Background Check (CBC) and Firearms Authorized Training is required.
- For facilities that sell only ammunition and have state-specific requirements, a current state-issued Certificate of Eligibility may be required.
- Associates must attend and successfully complete all job-required trainings and assessments.
Preferred Qualifications
While not required, the following qualifications are preferred:
- Bachelor of Science in Business Management and Leadership through Live Better U and Bellevue University.
- Certificate of Completion in People and Business Leadership through Live Better U and Bellevue University.
- General work experience supervising 5 or more direct reports, including performance management, mentoring, hiring, and firing.
