As a Work From Home Optician, your key responsibilities will include:- Verifying prescription information and ensuring accuracy
- Assisting customers with purchasing decisions and providing expert advice on eyewear and lenses
- Completing lens and eyewear orders in a timely and efficient manner

Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following essential qualifications:- High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree in optometry or a related field preferred
- Current licensure as an optician in the state of Virginia (or ability to obtain licensure within 6 months)
- Minimum 2 years of experience as an optician, preferably in a retail or eye care setting
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with customers and colleagues
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues in a timely and efficient manner
- Proficiency in computer software and technology, including point-of-sale systems and optical software
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong focus on customer satisfaction and service
Preferred Qualifications
While not required, the following qualifications would be beneficial in this role:- Bachelor's degree in optometry or a related field
- Experience working in a retail or eye care setting, preferably in a supervisory or management role
- Knowledge of optical software and technology, including frame inventory management and lens processing
- Experience with customer relationship management (CRM) software and systems
- Ability to speak multiple languages, including Spanish or other languages commonly spoken in the region

Compensation, Perks, and Benefits
As a Work From Home Optician, you will receive a competitive salary and benefits package, including:- Hourly wage: $26.5 - $34.5 per hour, with the potential for additional compensation in the form of premiums and incentives
