About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Full Stack Product Owner to join our team on a part-time, work-from-home basis. As a Product Owner, you will be responsible for leading the development of our web and cloud applications, working closely with cross-functional teams to define and prioritize product features, and ensuring that our products meet the needs of our customers. Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare backlog for PI Planning and determine which work items become part of the product backlog
  • Act as the client intermediary, working with the Product Management team and other stakeholders to define and prioritize product features
  • Develop, refine, prioritize, and maintain the product backlog
  • Participate in Scrum ceremonies, such as sprint planning, retrospectives, and demos
  • Assist in creating user stories and defining acceptance criteria
  • Review and accept user stories as complete
  • Contribute to the vision and product roadmap
  • Meet with stakeholders to ensure that features and subsequent stories meet expectations
  • Drive prioritization of product features by focusing on user stories
  • May perform other work duties as directed by Representative's Managers

Essential Qualifications

  • Secondary School Diploma or GED
  • Four-year degree or equivalent work experience - BS, Business, Engineering, Computer Science, Data Systems, or related field or the same conventional education

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master's degree in a related field
  • Experience with Agile methodologies, Scrum, and Kanban
  • Strong understanding of software development principles and practices
  • Experience with cloud-based applications and infrastructure
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment

Skills and Competencies

  • Ability to make decisions with minimal direction and oversight
  • Ability to be organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to prioritize multiple perspectives into a single message
  • Ability to understand technical issues
  • Talented in analysis and critical thinking with a high level of scrutiny
  • Ability to identify risks, issues, and opportunities, and raise them as needed
  • Gifted in presentation, assistance, communication, and discussion
  • Ability to be adaptable and articulate in challenging change management situations, knowing when to insert self and when to step back
  • Strong knowledge of Scrum, including the values and principles, and how they are applied in business contexts
