About Workwarp & Installation Made Easy (IME)

Workwarp is a trailblazing technology and services platform that empowers retailers, contractors, and homeowners to bring high‑quality home improvement projects to life—quickly, affordably, and with seamless coordination. Through our flagship suite, Installation Made Easy (IME), we deliver end‑to‑end software, processes, and partnership ecosystems that turn traditional, fragmented home‑improvement experiences into streamlined, data‑driven journeys. With more than a century of combined retail and home‑improvement leadership across senior management, IME’s team blends deep industry knowledge with cutting‑edge technology to reshape how improvements are sold, installed, and serviced.

Our remote‑first culture reflects the evolving nature of modern work: collaborative, flexible, and focused on outcomes rather than geography. As a member of the Business Development organization, you’ll join a group of innovators who are passionate about driving growth, cultivating strategic partnerships, and delivering measurable value to both our internal stakeholders and the millions of homeowners we serve.

Why This Role Is a Game‑Changer for Your Career

The Program Development Manager (PDM) sits at the nexus of merchant strategy, account leadership, and project execution. In this hybrid role you will not only design and launch new home‑improvement programs but also steward existing initiatives to peak performance. Your work will be visible to senior leadership, will influence cross‑functional teams, and will directly impact the company’s top‑line growth. If you thrive in dynamic environments, enjoy shaping strategy while rolling up your sleeves to ensure flawless delivery, this position offers the perfect platform to elevate your professional trajectory.

Key Responsibilities

  • Program Performance & Optimization: Continuously assess, refine, and enhance both legacy and newly launched home‑improvement programs to drive revenue, profitability, and customer satisfaction.
  • Strategic Partnership Development: Identify, negotiate, and manage relationships with retail chains, manufacturers, and service providers that expand IME’s ecosystem and create mutual growth opportunities.
  • End‑to‑End Program Launch: Lead the full lifecycle of program creation—from market analysis, business case development, and requirement gathering to pilot testing, rollout, and post‑launch optimization.
  • Project Management & Timeline Governance: Build detailed project plans, set milestones, allocate resources, and monitor progress to ensure timely delivery while adhering to quality standards.
  • Process Analysis & Efficiency Gains: Conduct deep‑dive analyses of existing workflows, surface bottlenecks, and implement process improvements that increase speed and reduce cost.
  • Stakeholder Communication & Reporting: Produce executive‑level presentations, status dashboards, and data‑rich reports that keep senior leadership and partner teams informed and aligned.
  • Cross‑Functional Collaboration: Partner closely with Operations, Product Development, Marketing, and Technology teams to translate business needs into functional specifications and to resolve implementation challenges.
  • Technical Issue Resolution: Work with engineering and operations teams to troubleshoot software bugs, prioritize feature enhancements, and ensure program stability.
  • Documentation & Requirement Writing: Author clear, concise development requirements, user stories, and SOPs that guide product and operations teams.
  • Relationship Management: Cultivate trust with internal and external stakeholders through regular check‑ins, proactive issue resolution, and alignment on program objectives.
  • Additional Initiatives: Contribute to ad‑hoc projects, market research, competitive analysis, and other activities that support the broader business development agenda.

Essential Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Engineering, or a related discipline (MBA or equivalent advanced degree is a plus).
  • Industry Experience: Proven background in home‑improvement, retail, merchandising, or related sectors, with a demonstrated ability to translate market insights into actionable programs.
  • Project Management Mastery: Minimum 4–6 years of hands‑on experience managing multi‑phase projects, preferably with a PMP, PRINCE2, or Agile certification.
