Job Overview

As a Remote Recruiter and HR Coordinator at Workwarp, you will be responsible for performing a wide range of human resources related duties, with a primary focus on recruitment, benefit administration, and HR policy maintenance. Key Responsibilities

  • Perform recruiting duties for open positions, including initiating requisitions, screening candidates, scheduling interviews, and coordinating staffing needs.
  • Find, engage, and activate candidates on recruitment platforms, maintaining an active presence in professional groups to develop a network of potential candidates and industry professionals.
  • Send recruitment and follow-up communications (phone and email) with potential candidates, ensuring timely and effective communication.
  • Maintain HR policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with company standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Administer pre-employment drug tests, background checks, and other screening processes for all new employees.
  • Prepare and distribute offer letters and new hire paperwork for all new employees, ensuring a smooth onboarding process.
  • Seek clarification and obtain missing information, when necessary, before processing employee records, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Respond to routine questions from employees and applicants, providing exceptional customer service and support.
  • Focus on providing a great candidate experience at every opportunity, through exceptional written and verbal communication, ensuring a positive and lasting impression of our company.
  • Perform other related duties and assignments as required and upon request, demonstrating flexibility and a willingness to adapt to changing priorities.

Essential Qualifications

  • Excellent fluent English verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex ideas and concepts in a clear and concise manner.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources or a related field, with a strong foundation in HR principles and practices.
  • Prior knowledge of standard HR practices and recruitment, with experience in talent acquisition, benefits administration, and HR policy maintenance.
  • Must be highly organized, with the ability to manage multiple projects with competing deadlines, prioritizing tasks and managing time effectively.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to build consensus, manage conflict, and handle stressful situations in a professional manner.
  • Excellent project management skills, with 1-2 years of experience in a relevant field, demonstrating a track record of success in HR and recruitment.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working in a remote or virtual environment, with the ability to work independently and as part of a distributed team.
  • Familiarity with HR software and systems, including applicant tracking systems, HR information systems, and performance management tools.
  • Knowledge of employment law and regulatory requirements, with experience in compliance and risk management.
