As a Remote Customer Service Representative, you will be part of a talented team that is dedicated to making a positive impact in the lives of our policyholders. **Key Responsibilities** As a Remote Customer Service Representative, you will be responsible for delivering outstanding customer service by: * Managing a significant volume of inbound calls, averaging between 70-120 calls daily, and responding to customer inquiries in a timely and professional manner. * Maintaining effective communication with policyholders, providers, and third parties, ensuring that their needs are met and concerns are addressed. * Staying informed about new and updated procedures regarding policy information, and applying this knowledge to provide accurate and helpful responses to customers. * Ensuring customer needs are met in every interaction, whether conducted via phone, email, or written correspondence, and escalating complex issues to senior representatives when necessary. * Meeting established department standards for call volume, average call handling time, and effective time management, while maintaining a high level of productivity and efficiency. **Required Skills** To succeed in this role, you will need to possess: * Excellent oral and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex information in a clear and concise manner. * Proficient in basic computer skills and Microsoft Office, with the ability to navigate multiple software applications and systems. * Strong organizational and time management abilities, with the capacity to prioritize tasks and manage multiple calls simultaneously. * Ability to multi-task and perform efficiently under pressure, while maintaining a high level of accuracy and attention to detail. * A reliable internet connection with at least 20 Mbps upload and download speed (hard-wired connection is necessary), as well as a smartphone to access the VPN. **Qualifications** To be considered for this role, you will need to meet the following qualifications: * A minimum of 1 year of experience in a high-volume call center or similar role where daily phone interaction is essential. * Candidates must be at least 18 years old and possess a high school diploma or equivalent. * Preference for individuals with remote work experience, although not mandatory. * A quiet and professional home office environment is required, with minimal distractions and interruptions. * Experience in the insurance industry is advantageous but not required. **Career Growth Opportunities** As a Customer Service Representative, you will receive comprehensive training aimed at enhancing your skills in first-contact resolution and customer satisfaction, paving the way for potential career advancement within the company. Our training program is designed to equip you with the knowledge and skills necessary to excel in this role, and we offer opportunities for growth and development to our employees. **Training and Onboarding** Our training program is a comprehensive 2-3 week program that will be conducted Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM CST. During this time, you will receive in-depth training on our policies, procedures, and systems, as well as coaching and feedback from our experienced trainers. Availability for training during the weekdays between 7:30 AM and 6:30 PM CST is required. **Post-Training Schedule** Following training, you will work 40 hours per week on a Monday-Friday schedule, with no weekend shifts unless overtime is available. You will be expected to maintain a high level of productivity and efficiency, while providing exceptional customer service to our policyholders. **Equipment and Technology** As a Remote Customer Service Representative, you will be provided with all necessary equipment and technology to perform your job duties, including a smartphone for VPN access.
