Job Summary

Under supervision, the Data Entry Representative will be responsible for entering claims in compliance with established procedures, meeting production and quality standards, identifying and resolving eligibility edits, and referring all other edits to claims examiners. This is an initial 3-month contract with potential extensions up to 2 years, offering a competitive hourly rate, access to healthcare, dental, and vision insurance plans, and a 401K plan.

Key Responsibilities

  • Enter claims into data management systems with high accuracy and efficiency
  • Meet production and quality standards, ensuring timely and accurate data entry
  • Identify and resolve eligibility edits, referring all other edits to claims examiners as needed
  • Work with multiple monitors and systems, including Windows platform and AS400 (MS DOS) system
  • Utilize Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel to perform tasks and communicate with team members
  • Collaborate with provider data demographics and insurance products, such as medical or dental
  • Prioritize work assigned, respond to calls and emails throughout the workday, and self-manage while working remotely

Essential Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Experience with inputting data into data management systems
  • Familiarity with working with Windows platform and AS400 (MS DOS) system
  • Medium skills in Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel
  • Comfort working with multiple monitors and ability to adapt to daily/weekly changes
  • Experience working with provider data demographics and insurance products, such as medical or dental
  • Reliable and able to self-manage while working remotely, with great attention to detail for accuracy of data entered

Preferred Qualifications

While not required, the following qualifications are preferred:

  • Experience working in a production environment, meeting daily metrics and deadlines
  • Familiarity with insurance products and services, including Employer Paid and Voluntary Group Benefits
  • Previous experience working with claims examiners and resolving eligibility edits
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to work collaboratively with team members
