DevSecOps Engineer

About the Role:
As a DevSecOps Engineer, in a central DevSecOps team, you will be responsible to design, assess and implement solutions to address our infrastructure and security requirements for central CI/CD Platform. Platforms and tools we use at Swiss Re include Microsoft Azure, Azure DevOps, Docker, Kubernetes, AquaSec, Terraform, Python, GitHub just to name a few.

We aim to elevate the developer experience through innovative approaches that prioritise security, compliance, and seamless integration.
About you:
- Hands on development skills in any language (Java, Golang, Javascript / Typescript) with good understanding of code quality and artefact security.
- Expertise in CI/CD tools (Azure DevOps, GitLab, GitHub), version control (Git), artifact management (Artifactory), and scripting (Bash, Python, PowerShell).
- Proven experience of CI/CD platforms to build and deploy cloud-native applications.
- In-depth knowledge of Linux infrastructure experience
- Solid experience with Networking concepts, security
- Hands on experience on docker containers and IaC - Terraform/Packer
- Good understanding of application security and monitoring solutions.
- Demonstrated ability to take end-to-end ownership of initiatives and collaborate effectively with international teams.
- Proactive, adaptable, and customer-oriented mindset with a strong sense of responsibility and ownership.
- Excellent communication and documentation skills in English, with proven experience working in multicultural environments.
- Strong analytical, conceptual, and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to propose and execute Proofs of Concept (PoCs) to accelerate feedback cycles.
- Skilled in managing and resolving major incidents with clear and effective customer communication.
For Slovakia the base salary range for this position is between [EUR 2,700] and [EUR 4,500] per month (for a full-time role). The specific salary offered considers:
- the requirements, scope, complexity and responsibilities of the role,
- the applicant’s own profile including education/qualifications, expertise, specialisation, skills and experience.
