Join Our Team at blithequark

We're seeking an experienced Full Stack Data Scientist to join our Cloud Innovations Application Platform (AP) team. As a key member of our AI and Machine Learning group, you'll play a critical role in designing and executing our AI strategy to take our engineer experience platform to the next level and accelerate application development within blithequark. You'll collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams and apply advanced algorithms to large-scale data to drive business outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

As a Full Stack Data Scientist at blithequark, you'll be responsible for:
  • Designing and executing AI strategies to enhance our engineer experience platform and accelerate application development
  • Collaborating with AI engineers, programmers, and other data scientists to develop and deploy AI-powered solutions
  • Applying advanced machine learning algorithms to large-scale data to drive business outcomes
  • Ensuring data quality through analysis, modeling, and data visualization
  • Picking and calibrating machine learning models to achieve optimal predictive performance
  • Communicating complex AI model capabilities to non-technical stakeholders
  • Staying up-to-date with the latest advancements in AI and machine learning

Essential Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you'll need:
  • 2+ years of experience in the software industry, with a focus on machine learning
  • Proficiency in quantitative programming languages, such as Python, R, and SQL, with experience working with distributed storage systems like S3, Flash, and Vector Database
  • Experience with model selection and hyperparameter tuning for predictive modeling
  • Strong understanding of advanced AI (ML) concepts, including deep learning, statistics, and natural language processing
  • Experience with transformer architecture, vector embeddings, and applying models to solve business problems
  • Ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders

Preferred Qualifications

While not required, the following qualifications would be a plus:
  • Experience with cloud-based platforms, such as AWS or Azure
  • Knowledge of DevOps practices and tools, such as Docker and Kubernetes
  • Experience with agile development methodologies and version control systems, such as Git
  • Strong understanding of software development life cycles (SDLC) and application development
