Job Overview

Key Responsibilities:

  • Demonstrate excellent empathy and patience when interacting with patients, providers, and referral sources, ensuring a positive experience for all stakeholders.
  • Receive and respond to approximately 60-65 incoming calls per day, addressing a variety of inquiries and requests in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Collect and accurately enter clinical and demographic information into our portal, maintaining the highest level of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Comply with all blithequark policies, including HIPAA/PHI, to ensure the confidentiality and security of patient information.
  • Strive to meet or exceed individual performance goals in areas such as Call Quality, Attendance, Adherence, and other Contact Center objectives, contributing to the overall success of our team.

Qualifications and Requirements

To be considered for this exciting opportunity, you should possess:

  • A High School Diploma or GED, demonstrating a strong foundation in education and a commitment to lifelong learning.
  • A minimum of 2 years of customer service experience in a call center environment, with a proven track record of delivering exceptional service and support.
  • A minimum of 1 year of experience working in the healthcare or medical industry, with a solid understanding of medical terminology and the ability to navigate complex healthcare-related inquiries.
  • Intermediate keyboarding abilities, with a minimum of 30 words per minute, and the ability to data enter while actively listening to patients and stakeholders.
  • Basic PC skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office, with the ability to navigate dual monitors and multiple applications.
  • Strong search engine abilities, with the capacity to troubleshoot and navigate various software applications and systems.

Technical Requirements:

To ensure seamless connectivity and optimal performance in our remote call center environment, you will need:

  • High-speed internet with a minimum upload speed of 2mb/10mb and a minimum download speed of 10mb/25mb.
  • A reliable fiber or cable connection, as DSL, satellite, wireless, and hotspot connections are not permitted due to poor connectivity.
  • The ability to hardwire your computer with an Ethernet cable while working, to maintain a stable and secure connection.
