Key Responsibilities • Review and proofread digital content for grammar, spelling, punctuation, and formatting errors. • Ensure clarity, consistency, and tone of written materials align with brand guidelines. • Collaborate closely with writers, editors, and other team members to deliver high-quality content. • Identify and correct errors in text, images, and layout before publication. • Provide constructive feedback and suggest improvements to enhance readability and engagement. • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of language trends and best practices in online content proofreading. • Meet tight deadlines and manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment. Required Skills and Qualifications • 1-2 years of experience in proofreading or editing digital content. • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with a keen eye for detail. • Proficiency with common editing tools and digital platforms. • Strong command of English grammar, syntax, and style. • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a hybrid environment. • Excellent organizational and time-management skills. • Legal authorization to work from home in the United States. Preferred Qualifications • Experience in a content-driven, fast-paced industry. • Familiarity with style guides such as AP or Chicago Manual of Style. • Bachelor’s degree in English, Journalism, Communications, or related field.
