Job Overview

In this critical role, you will be responsible for coordinating testing services for patients, working closely with healthcare providers, insurance companies, and patients to ensure seamless and timely testing processes. Your exceptional communication skills, attention to detail, and ability to work independently will enable you to make a meaningful difference in the lives of our customers. As a Mental Health Customer Service Representative at blithequark, you will be the hub of our customer service operations, collaborating with various departments to ensure prompt handling of orders, billing processes, and issue resolution.

Key Responsibilities

  • Review test request forms and additional documentation to ensure accurate and timely testing
  • Work with healthcare providers to complete required documentation and sample submission
  • Collaborate with insurance companies to secure the highest possible coverage for patients
  • Communicate with patients to explain insurance coverage benefits, test information, and process and turnaround time
  • Manage assigned work independently, meeting production and quality metrics
  • Identify issues and trends, developing best practices to ensure exceptional customer service and experience
  • Participate in projects that extend beyond day-to-day responsibilities, exploring new aspects of blithequark and our customers' experience
  • Participate in the Quality Assurance plan and comply with applicable CLIA and HIPAA regulations

Qualifications and Skills

To succeed in this role, you will need to possess a high school diploma or equivalent, with fluency in Spanish being preferred. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills are essential, as well as accurate typing skills of at least 35 words per minute. You should be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple tasks simultaneously, and demonstrating excellent organizational and task management skills. A hardworking individual with a passion for problem-solving, team collaboration, and supporting others will thrive in this position.

Technical Requirements

  • Minimum speed/bandwidth requirements: 50 Mbps download and 5 Mbps upload
  • PC experience, including familiarity with Excel, Word, Internet, and email

Physical Requirements

  • Lifting requirements: light work or exerting up to 20 pounds of force frequently
  • Physical requirements: stationary positioning, moving, operating, ascending/descending, communicating, observing, pushing or pulling, and reaching
  • Use of equipment and tools necessary to perform essential job functions
