Key Responsibilities
- Prepare patients for their appointments by obtaining photo identification, signature of various consent forms, and associated blithequark paperwork required for the visit.
- Ensure smooth patient flow throughout the clinic, coordinating with clinical staff and providers to minimize wait times and maximize efficiency.
- Maintain and coordinate patient schedules for various providers and clinical staff, using blithequark's electronic health record (EHR) system and other software as needed.
- Field incoming phone calls and emails through a shared authorization email inbox, responding to patient inquiries and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.
- Assist and prepare employer paperwork for the clinical staff, ensuring that all necessary documents are completed and submitted accurately and efficiently.
- Assist with covering at other blithequark locations as necessary, providing support and ensuring continuity of care for our patients.
- Assist with tasks as directed by management, demonstrating flexibility and a willingness to adapt to changing priorities and needs.
Essential Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following essential qualifications:
- Ability to communicate clearly and professionally both in writing and verbally, with excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
- Demonstrated personal responsibility, integrity, and ability to handle Protected Health Information (PHI) in a manner consistent with HIPAA regulations.
- Attention to detail and ability to multi-task, with a strong focus on accuracy and efficiency.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team, following blithequark protocols and procedures.
