Job Overview

In this critical role, you will be responsible for providing top-notch support to our plan members, helping them navigate their pharmacy benefit plans, and answering questions about medication coverage, mail-order prescriptions, and other related topics. Your goal will be to deliver heart-driven support that empowers our members to make informed decisions about their healthcare, while also providing a seamless and personalized experience that exceeds their expectations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Accept inbound calls and respond to member inquiries about pharmacy benefit plans, medication coverage, and mail-order prescriptions
  • Provide clear, concise, and accurate information to members, ensuring they understand their coverage options and can make informed decisions about their healthcare
  • Offer solutions and support to resolve member issues and concerns, escalating complex issues to senior team members as needed
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to resolve member issues and improve the overall customer experience
  • Participate in ongoing training and development programs to enhance your knowledge and skills, staying up-to-date on industry trends and best practices

Qualifications and Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess a combination of education, experience, and skills that enable you to deliver exceptional customer service and support. The following qualifications are required:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • 2+ years of experience engaging with clients in a customer-facing environment (e.g., call center, retail, customer support, hospitality industry, military experience)
  • PC proficiency in Windows-based applications
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, handling multiple priorities and deadlines with ease
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a patient, supportive, and empathetic approach to customer interactions
