Job Overview

As a Customer Care Representative at blithequark, you will play a vital role in delivering best-in-class service to our customers. You will be responsible for providing timely and effective support to our clients, answering their questions, and resolving their concerns in a professional and courteous manner. Key Responsibilities

  • Virtually assist customers and other advisors over the phone, email, and on the web with billing/insurance verification, product, or service questions
  • Manage both inbound and outbound calls, ensuring that all customer interactions are handled in a timely and professional manner
  • Proactively identify solutions to questions you anticipate our customers having in each interaction, and take a hands-on approach to resolving every issue
  • Partner with pharmacists and pharmacy staff if clinical advisement is necessary, ensuring that our customers receive the best possible care and support
  • Provide technical support to customers navigating our website, and help them with their insurance and copay questions, as well as shipping needs
  • Serve customers in a timely manner, ensuring that we maximize our relationship with them and build long-term loyalty
  • Understand that each interaction is about more than solving a single problem, but an opportunity to build trust, provide education, and promote healthy behaviors
  • Promote customer privacy and safety by maintaining adherence to our Work From Home policy, and ensuring that all customer interactions are handled in a secure and confidential manner

Requirements and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need to have:

  • A high school diploma or equivalent, and be at least 18 years of age
  • 6+ months of professional experience working with computer and web-based tools, and experience multitasking with phone and computer skills
  • 1+ year of relevant phone or email customer service experience, preferably in a healthcare environment
  • Excellent communication skills, both spoken and written, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Demonstrated ability to work as a team member, and a strong commitment to delivering exceptional customer service
  • Experience working under pressure, consistently meeting standards for productivity and quality, and a strong attention to detail

Preferred Qualifications

While not required, the following qualifications are preferred:

  • Experience working in a customer service or call center environment, preferably in a healthcare setting
  • Knowledge of pharmacy operations, insurance, and billing procedures
  • Experience with electronic health records, and familiarity with medical terminology
  • Bilingual or multilingual skills, and the ability to communicate effectively with diverse customer populations
