Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Part Time Customer Support and Service Technician to join our team at blithequark. As a service technician, you will be responsible for performing mechanical services and light remanufacturing on soft drink fountain equipment, investigating and diagnosing issues, and maintaining all refrigeration equipment in good working condition. You will also be required to provide exceptional customer support, working directly with clients to set up and maintain the perfect serving environment for our products.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform mechanical services and light remanufacturing on soft drink fountain equipment according to blithequark standards
  • Investigate and diagnose issues with soft drink fountain equipment
  • Maintain all refrigeration equipment in good working condition
  • Move equipment to perform all mechanical services on fountain hardware, including preventive maintenance, programming, and corrective repairs
  • Provide exceptional customer support, working directly with clients to set up and maintain the perfect serving environment for our products
  • Work collaboratively as part of a team to achieve customer satisfaction and business goals
  • Remain positive, flexible, and adaptable in a fast-paced environment

Essential Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need to have:

  • A high school diploma or equivalent degree/certification
  • A valid driver's license
  • Technical aptitude to repair machines and equipment
  • Ability to lift 50 pounds
  • Flexibility to work on Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays as required
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
