Remote Special Education Teacher Position - Michigan

Contract | Remote | 1099 | Full-Time or Part-Time VocoVision is partnering with a Michigan school district to fill a fully remote Special Education teaching position for the 20252026 school year. This is a fantastic opportunity to serve students virtually while maintaining the flexibility of independent contract work. Responsibilities: • Provide direct instruction to K12 students with mild to moderate disabilities • Develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) • Collaborate with general education teachers, therapists, and families • Conduct virtual assessments and maintain progress documentation • Use interactive teletherapy platforms and tools to enhance engagement Requirements: • Valid Michigan Special Education Certification • Experience working with a variety of disabilities (SLD, ASD, ED, etc.) • Previous virtual teaching experience is preferred • Strong communication and organizational skills • Must pass a technical screening Technical Needs: • Reliable high-speed internet • Computer with webcam and microphone • Ability to work with Zoom and other educational platforms To apply, email your resume to Javonia Ellis at [email protected] Or call: 813-213-0177 Apply Job!
