Lead Instructional Designer & Content Trainer (Story-Based Learning / ESL-Friendly)

We’re looking for an experienced instructional designer and educator to act as the lead content coordinator for our training programs. This role will oversee content creation across multiple certification areas (healthcare, digital literacy, trades), ensuring all learning materials follow our storytelling-based learning style and are accessible to both native English speakers and English language learners. You’ll serve as the main trainer for our content creators, helping them understand our approach, reviewing their work for alignment, and making sure everything is accurate, consistent, and ready for delivery. While you don’t need to be a subject matter expert in every topic, you must have a strong background in curriculum design and the ability to adapt content for different learner levels. Responsibilities: - Train new content creators in our storytelling-based instructional approach - Review modules to ensure accuracy, clarity, and engagement - Provide feedback to subject matter experts (CNA, HHA, PCA, digital literacy, trades, etc.) - Ensure all content is accessible to A1–B1 level English learners while still relevant for native speakers - Organize and track content development progress across multiple modules and verticals - Work with leadership to refine curriculum outlines and timelines Requirements: - Proven experience in instructional design and curriculum development - Strong background in adult education and learner engagement strategies - Some experience adapting materials for ESL learners - Excellent written and verbal communication skills - Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills Bonus: Experience in healthcare training, digital literacy programs, or vocational education.
