Virtual Receptionist/Administrative Team Member
Position Overview: The Virtual Receptionist / Admin Team Member will play an essential role in supporting both patients and providers with scheduling, payments, and general coordination. This position is perfect for someone who is detail-oriented, communicative, and comfortable working with a remote team.
Key Responsibilities:
• Schedule, confirm, and manage referral appointments for patients via our EHR and scheduling systems
• Monitor upcoming appointments and proactively follow up with patients as needed to ensure completion
• Collaborate with providers and internal teams to ensure seamless coordination and high-quality patient experience
• Maintain accurate documentation of communication, scheduling changes, and payment activity
• Assist with administrative duties, including internal reminders, reporting, or updating templates
• Additional administrative support may be required, such as answering emails, sending medical records, or assisting with other tasks as needed. This is not an exhaustive list of responsibilities and may evolve with the needs of the team.
Qualifications:
• Previous experience in a healthcare, behavioral health, or telehealth setting preferred
• Strong customer service skills with a warm, professional, and clear communication style
• Comfortable discussing payment collection and managing basic billing questions
• Tech-savvy and able to learn new systems quickly (familiarity with Creyos or similar platforms is a plus)
• Highly organized with excellent time management and attention to detail
• Able to work independently in a remote environment and as part of a collaborative team
• Experience with HIPAA compliance and maintaining patient confidentiality
Job Type: Contract
Pay: $1,700.00 per month
