Medicare Sales Specialist (Remote - Telesales)

About the position Responsibilities • Work defined campaigns to assist Aetna Medicare members in finding appropriate coverage options. • Conduct compliant presentations throughout the sales process. • Acquire new members on available Medicare products via inbound and outbound campaigns. • Learn and adapt to new approaches using defined trainings, processes, and scripting. • Assess customer needs by utilizing questions and demonstrating superior listening skills during sales presentations. • Service existing members and address inquiries related to their product and benefits. • Cross-sell applicable products to existing members. • Maintain high compliance standards with knowledge of CMS and state regulations. • Multitask effectively while interacting with prospects and members via phone. • Participate in internal monitoring audits and coaching feedback sessions. • Capture relevant information in the Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system. Requirements • 1 to 2 years demonstrated sales experience. • Active Health insurance license or must obtain within 30 days of hire date or within two attempts. • Ability to obtain release if contracted with another firm/carrier (if applicable). • Active use of computer for daily job activities. • Ability to multi-task while talking on the phone. • Excellent communication and listening skills. • Self-starter with a positive attitude and ability to manage emotions when dealing with unhappy customers. • Adaptable to a fast-paced, high-pressure, achievement-oriented environment. • Proficient computer skills and knowledge of Microsoft Office. • Must work Central Time hours.
