Flow Cytometry Analyst, US Remote

Description: • Performs routine high complexity analyses and interpretations of flow cytometry dot plots in the testing of leukemia/lymphoma specimens. • Properly performs and documents quality assurance, quality control. • Operates equipment as needed to complete testing. • Sample preparation performed as needed. • Properly prioritizes samples according to policy. • Adheres to all safety, quality control and documentation policies. • Recognizes problems that may adversely affect patient care and takes appropriate action. • Participates in required Continuing Education activities. • Serves as an example and resource to other testing laboratory personnel. • Assists in training of personnel. • Shows willingness to perform duties until they are complete. • Additional duties as assigned. Requirements: • Bachelor's degree in Chemical or Biological science, Clinical Laboratory Science, Medical Technology or meet local regulatory (CLIA & State) requirements • Minimum 1 year of clinical laboratory testing experience is required • Experience in Flow Cytometry is highly preferred • MT(ASCP), MLS(ASCP), CLS(NCA) or SCYM(ASCP) certification is a plus • Ability to work independently and within a team environment • Proficient with computers; Familiarity with laboratory information systems is a plus • High level of attention to detail along with strong communication and organizational skills • Must be able to pass a standardized color vision screen • Flexibility to work overtime or other shifts depending on business needs Benefits: • Medical, Dental, Vision, Life, STD/LTD, 401(k), Paid Time Off (PTO) or Flexible Time Off (FTO), Tuition Reimbursement and Employee Stock Purchase Plan Apply tot his job Apply To this Job
