Remote Content Tagger - Editorial Creative Team

As a Content Tagger, you'll be responsible for analyzing and tagging films, collections, and specials to help our users discover new content they'll love. You'll work closely with our team of experts to identify, gather, and transform creative characteristics into metadata that powers personalization for our global audience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Analyze, tag, research, and write about films and collections with attention to detail and understanding of the underlying creative intent
- Meet tight deadlines in a fast-moving, professional environment and ensure high-quality output
- Develop an understanding of emerging film markets and interpret the business strategy for these regions
- Multitask, self-direct, and self-manage daily tasks as well as other editorial and innovation projects, including A/B tests that require cross-functional collaboration
- Stay up-to-date with current events and cultural moments, while also being aware of historical, political, social, and sensitive issues from around the region
- Possess excellent verbal and written communication skills, including presentation skills, particularly with core cross-functional partners
- Represent and advocate for the core Editorial Creative team, while also building successful partnerships in the region
- Master internal tools and systems effectively
Required Qualifications:
- Prior experience in an Audio/Visual position, such as Content Specialist, Insights Strategist, Metadata Analyst, or Platform Editor
- Passionate about films and collections with deep knowledge of the entertainment industry and the global streaming and EMEA entertainment landscape
- Knowledge of and passion for popular culture and new media trends, including other entertainment platforms
- Ability to differentiate nuances within different film and TV genres and distill the essence of a film/collection, including sharing findings in an objective, concise manner
- Experience demonstrating excellent cross-functional skills in previous roles, including presentation skills
- Strong leadership, time management, and communication skills
- Experience working with large data catalogs is a plus
- Fluency in Excel, Airtable, Google Sheets, or other data trackers and data management systems is a plus
- Full professional fluency in English is required
- Fluency in Arabic is required
- Additional European language knowledge is a plus

The typical market range for roles in this location at Netflix is typically $50,000 - 100,000.
