Pharmacy Informaticist - Electronic Health Records Specialist (Remote Opportunity)

We are GDIT, a leading IT and mission services provider to the government, and we are seeking a skilled Pharmacy Informaticist to join our team. You will have the opportunity to work with a talented group of professionals who are dedicated to providing innovative solutions to healthcare organizations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as an expert role model in promoting the understanding, integration, and application of information technology in healthcare settings
- Design, configure, activate, and support the implementation of Oracle Health EHR (Millennium) solutions at the Indian Health Service
- Mentor client project teams and provide guidance on project and system build strategy
- Act as a consulting professional, providing solutions, industry best practices, and technology designs within a product/technology family
- Consult with clients on service line workflow and guide them through interdependencies and design decision impacts
- Provide solution oversight, direction, and expertise to stakeholders
- Drive client-specific solution configuration design to meet workflow requirements and make recommendations to clients
- Mitigate solution risks and issues and execute workflow and process improvement strategies
- Lead client meetings and events, and work closely with project leadership on documentation of issues and facilitation of solutions
- Analyze and monitor workflows, providing documentation and optimization suggestions
- Engage in evaluation and testing of new technologies
- Maintain strong communications with project leader, manager, and team leader, as well as other team and staff members, end-users, and vendors
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
- 8+ years of experience supporting medium to large IT projects
- Knowledge of Indian Health Services workflows
- Extensive knowledge and experience with the Oracle Health electronic health record
- Experience acting as a consulting professional with an understanding of solutions, industry best practices, multiple business processes or technology designs within a product/technology family
- Experience driving client-specific solution configuration design that meets workflow requirements
- Experience mitigating solution risks and issues and executing workflow and process improvement strategies
- Proficient in Microsoft products
- Ability to travel up to 25% of the year, if needed
Security Clearance Level: Must be able to obtain a public trust clearance, which requires residency in the U.S. for 3 of the last 5 years.
