We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Product Owner to join our team at Southwest Airlines. As a Product Owner, you will play a critical role in defining and prioritizing the product backlog, working closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality products that meet customer needs. Key Responsibilities:
- Act as the client intermediary, working with stakeholders to define and prioritize product requirements
- Build, refine, and maintain the product backlog, ensuring it is up-to-date and aligned with business objectives
- Collaborate with Scrum teams, participating in sprint planning, review, and demo meetings
- Develop and maintain customer stories, defining acceptance criteria and reviewing completed work
- Contribute to the vision and program backlog, ensuring alignment with company goals
- Meet with stakeholders to ensure features and stories meet expectations
- Drive sprint content by prioritizing customer stories
Requirements:
- 4+ years of experience in Agile and Scrum software development methodologies
- Strong understanding of business analysis, project management, or software development
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal guidance and oversight
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field
