Veterinary Campus Recruiter (Remote)

As a key member of our team, you will partner with the Manager of Talent Acquisition to identify, attract, and recruit top talent to join our mission of Leading Specialty Healthcare for Pets.
In this dynamic role, you will nurture relationships with veterinary schools and students, effectively recruiting doctors to MedVet's house officer training programs. You will lead our Student Ambassador program, manage events and activities, and utilize software tools to maximize outreach to potential candidates. As a true contributor to the growth of the company, you will assist in providing the talent that makes MedVet successful.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Leading MedVet's Student Ambassador program, including interviewing, onboarding, and managing ambassadors
- Conducting virtual group meetings and managing events and activities, including virtual events, university visits, and conferences
- Recruiting and hiring candidates for the Emergency Clinician Mentorship Program (ECMP)
- Maintaining and updating databases, utilizing software tools, and developing monthly reports
- Attending virtual and in-person veterinary conferences, job fairs, and university events (up to 25% travel)
- Developing and maintaining relationships with key contacts at universities, veterinary specialty colleges, and conference organizers
- Partnering with marketing to develop materials for recruiting activities and leveraging social media to enhance and support recruiting activities
To succeed in this role, you should have:
- Recruiting experience, preferably in campus recruiting, and/or veterinary professional experience
- Strong technological skills, including proficiency in MS Office software
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and project management skills
- Ability to work in cross-functional teams, collaborate, and influence team members
- Flexibility, adaptability, and excellent judgment to prioritize work and meet objectives
- Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to work independently with a team mentality
