Customer Service Benefit Advocate (Night Shift) - National Remote Opportunity

As a Customer Service Benefit Advocate, you will play a vital role in making a positive impact on the lives of millions of people. We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate individual to join our team, working from the comfort of their own home, to provide exceptional customer service and support to our valued customers.
In this full-time remote overnight role, you will take incoming calls from customers, responding to their inquiries and resolving issues related to their health benefits. You will utilize your excellent communication skills, empathy, and problem-solving abilities to guide customers through the healthcare benefits available to them, including enrollment in new plans. With a focus on delivering exceptional customer experiences, you will be the advocate our customers need to navigate the complexities of the healthcare system.
We offer a comprehensive 18-week training program, conducted virtually from your home, to equip you with the knowledge and skills necessary to succeed in this role. You will enjoy the flexibility to telecommute from anywhere within the U.S., working an 8-hour shift schedule between 8:00 pm - 8:00 am EST, Monday - Friday, with occasional weekends and holidays required.
Your primary responsibilities will include:
- Responding to customer inquiries and resolving issues on the first call, providing timely and accurate solutions
- Guiding and educating customers on the fundamentals and benefits of consumer-driven health care topics, empowering them to make informed decisions about their health plans
- Assisting customers in navigating our websites and encouraging self-sufficiency
- Collaborating with internal specialists and care providers to resolve complex issues and provide seamless support
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- High School Diploma / GED or equivalent work experience
- Minimum of 6 months of customer service experience
- Proficiency in computer navigation and Windows PC applications, with the ability to learn new and complex systems
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills
Preferred qualifications include experience in the healthcare or insurance industry, familiarity with medical terminology, and a background in social work, behavioral health, or health promotion.
We offer a competitive hourly rate of $16.88 to $33.22 per hour, based on full-time employment, as well as a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, and opportunities for professional growth and development.
