Position Overview

We're seeking a highly skilled and motivated Human Resources Assistant to support a group of 5-10 clients across multiple industries. As an HR Assistant, you'll partner with our HR Managers to drive day-to-day operations, implement HR priorities, and serve as the primary HR point of contact for client employees. If you have a "can-do" attitude, exceptional communication skills, and a strong attention to detail, we want to hear from you!

Work Schedule and Expectations

This remote position offers flexibility, but also requires a high level of responsiveness and customer focus. You'll be expected to be available to clients as needed, with a typical response time of less than 2 hours. While the role involves working during standard business hours, you may occasionally need to support client needs early in the morning or evenings.

Essential Job Functions

  • Manage HR administration and operations for each client, including new hire onboarding, payroll processing, employee documentation, benefits administration, and more
  • Serve as a hands-on HR expert for clients, building partnerships and delivering value-added services
  • Demonstrate flexibility and a willingness to take on various assignments, depending on client needs
  • Make informed decisions and provide counsel to management and team members to maintain a positive work environment and achieve optimal performance
  • Educate and advise management and team members on employment laws, HR policies, and procedures
  • Partner with HR Managers to resolve employee relations, corrective action, and performance issues
  • Ensure compliance with federal and state labor laws, identifying potential risks and recommending next steps
  • Build and maintain healthy relationships with team members and clients
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Required Education, Experience, Skills, and Abilities

  • Bachelor's Degree in HR, Business Administration, or a related field, with at least 1 year of successful HR, Payroll, or client-facing experience
  • Exceptional communication and consultation skills
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to influence leaders
  • Demonstrated track record of establishing relationships and earning credibility with client groups
  • Bilingual in Spanish/English preferred
