Chief Moderator - Engineering (Remote, Flexible Worker Contract)
Job Overview:
We are seeking an experienced and skilled Chief Moderator to join our External Quality Assurance team on a flexible worker contract. As a Chief Moderator, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and consistency of assessments for the Level 1/2 Technical Award in Engineering. This is a remote, flexible worker contract opportunity with a competitive salary and immediate start date.
Key Responsibilities:
- Recruit, train, and performance manage Moderators across the relevant sector area
- Ensure quality assurance and moderation are delivered in line with qualification and customer requirements
- Maintain compliance with all regulatory conditions relating to moderation of centre assessments
- Coordinate the day-to-day activities of the moderation team throughout the moderation window (28 May 2025 - 30 June 2025)
Requirements:
- Minimum of a level 3 qualification in Engineering or a related subject area
- Evidence of working within the sector
- Experience in assessment and internal quality assurance
- Knowledge and experience of managing moderation processes
- Excellent report writing skills
