Job Title: Full-Cycle Recruiter (Part-Time, Remote)
Optery, a fast-growing startup dedicated to tackling the pressing issue of data privacy, is seeking a highly skilled Full-Cycle Recruiter to lead our hiring efforts across technical and GTM teams. This is a 3-month contract position with the potential to scale from 20 hours/week to 40 hours/week, offering flexibility and autonomy.

- Manage full-cycle recruiting for roles across Engineering, Product, Marketing, and Sales, ensuring a seamless and efficient hiring process.
- Proactively source candidates on LinkedIn and other platforms to maintain a strong pipeline of qualified talent.
- Conduct thorough resume reviews and phone screens to assess candidate qualifications and team fit.
- Coordinate interviews across time zones, ensuring a smooth and positive candidate experience.
- Collaborate with hiring managers to define role needs, candidate profiles, and hiring strategies that align with our company goals.
- Maintain accurate and organized candidate data in our ATS (Applicant Tracking System) and Google Sheets, ensuring data-driven decision-making.
- Track and report key recruiting metrics to evaluate process effectiveness and inform strategic decisions.
- Optimize recruiting workflows and recommend process improvements to enhance our hiring capabilities.
- Draft and post compelling job descriptions that reflect our team culture and values.
- 5+ years of full-cycle recruiting experience, preferably in startup or high-growth environments.
- Proven track record of hiring for both technical and GTM roles, with a strong understanding of the skills and qualifications required.
- Experience sourcing passive candidates using LinkedIn Recruiter or similar tools, with a knack for building strong relationships.
- Proficiency in ATS platforms and G Suite, with excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to work independently in a remote, part-time capacity during U.S. business hours, with a high level of self-motivation and discipline.
- Clear and effective communication skills, with a proactive and solutions-focused approach.
- Experience working at or recruiting for an early-stage startup, with a deep understanding of the unique challenges and opportunities.
- Experience hiring in a cybersecurity company, with knowledge of the latest trends and technologies.
- Familiarity with candidate identity verification or fraud prevention best practices, with a commitment to ensuring the integrity of our hiring process.
- Competitive hourly rate ($40–$70/hr based on experience), with opportunities for growth and professional development.

Optery is headquartered in the San Francisco Bay Area, but operates as a fully-remote global team. While this is not necessarily a U.S.-based position, working regular U.S. business hours (Eastern, Central, Mountain, or Pacific time zones) is strongly preferred.
