EHR Clinical Application Expert / Lead Analyst – Epic Implementation
ReMedi Health Solutions is seeking experienced EHR Clinical Application Experts / Lead Analysts to support Epic implementation projects across diverse clinical domains. These individuals will play a critical role in configuring Epic and third-party applications, ensuring that system design aligns with both best practices and clinical business requirements.
As trusted subject matter experts, the Clinical Application Experts will collaborate with architects, clinicians, and operational leaders to guide configuration decisions, lead discussions on potential changes, and validate workflows through rigorous testing. This position requires both Epic module expertise and active clinical insight to ensure solutions are effective, safe, and aligned with end-user needs.
Key Responsibilities
• Work closely with the EHR Clinical Architect/Lead to ensure alignment between business processes, clinical needs, and Epic best practices.
• Lead the configuration and build of Epic modules and associated third-party applications.
• Facilitate and lead discussions on configuration changes, optimizations, and customizations, ensuring compliance with program standards and clinical requirements.
• Collaborate with end users and stakeholders to elicit and document business and clinical requirements.
• Support and guide testing activities, validating that functionality meets requirements and supports real-world workflows.
• Serve as a clinical and technical subject matter expert, bridging the gap between clinicians, IT analysts, and leadership.
Qualifications
• Minimum of two complete Epic clinical module implementations within the past seven years.
• Expert understanding of Epic workflows within at least one major clinical module (e.g., Ambulatory, Inpatient, Orders, Pharmacy, Behavioral Health, etc.).
• Strong experience in eliciting and elaborating requirements from both clinical and business stakeholders.
• Solid understanding of EHR testing methodologies and Epic implementation best practices.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills with the ability to engage both technical and clinical teams.
• Active clinical licensure in a relevant discipline (e.g., nursing, pharmacy, behavioral health, allied health).
Job Type: Contract
Pay: $130.00 per hour
