Application Evaluator (Temporary, Remote)
About the position
Responsibilities
• Evaluate applicant candidacy through application review in relation to evaluation criteria.
• Write decision recommendations with clear rationales.
• Orally present application review to a team of individuals including senior leadership.
• Complete application evaluations accurately and in a timely manner following a pre-determined applicant flow.
• Understand and maintain strict confidentiality of admissions process and application data.
Requirements
• A college degree (BA or higher) is necessary.
• At least three years of relevant experience.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to understand and maintain strict confidentiality of admissions process and application data.
• Demonstrated ability to function independently and meet deadlines.
• Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Willingness and ability to learn new CRM system.
• Commitment to work an average of 10 hours a week and up to 20 hours a week during peak periods.
Nice-to-haves
• Experience in a field with exposure to pre-MBA or post-MBA roles, or knowledge of MBA career paths.
• Knowledge of Owen Graduate School of Management and familiarity with programs.
• Experience in enrollment management, admissions, interviewing or on hiring committees.
• Experience with SLATE is a plus.
